Showers Possible This Weekend

Winds: E 10-15 miles per hour.

Tuesday is anticipated to be partly sunny in the day and mostly cloudy at night with respective temperatures in the high 60s and low 50s. Temperatures will warm to the upper 70s and lower 80s. This will serve as another focal point for a secondary surge of rain and possibly a few storms on Monday. Temperatures will reach into the low 90s, but will feel far worse because of the humidity. South wind 5 to 9 miles per hour becoming calm after midnight.

TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms. Southeast wind 5 to 9 miles per hour. High near 83. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Pop-up showers and storms return for Tuesday and Wednesday, 30% chance, with highs in the 70s. A few rain showers will be possible midweek next week. Places that typically flood during thunderstorms (like Lakebottom) are the areas of concern. We wouldn't be surprised if the temperature dips into the upper 30s in some of the cooler areas, such as valleys in northwestern and northeastern parts of the state. There will be a 70 percent chance of rain. Low around 50. High in the lower 70s.

Sunday: Scattered showers or thunderstorms.

Sunday night - A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m., then a slight chance of showers.

Today's high will be near 70 and the low will be in the mid 60s.

Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 68. A surface ridge of high pressure will gradually develop behind the departing system allowing for improving weather Saturday night into Sunday with sunshine and pleasant conditions Sunday afternoon.
