'Baahubali 2' surpasses the all time collections of 'Baahubali'

The story of Baahubali was incomplete because the answer to why Kattappa killed Baahubali was not revealed in the first part. But Baahubali 2 has surpassed all the records with ticket prices going as high as Rs 1,000.

Baahubali: The Conclusion has lived up to its prerelease hype. "Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Dangal is the HIGHEST GROSSER in U.S. [$ 12.4 million]... It has already broken countless records set by many Bollywood biggies like Dangal, PK, Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom 3. The last movie with maximum screens was Dangal that released in about 6000 screens. "I also chatted with Rana Daggubati about the film". There is no other film that has witnessed this kind of buzz and hype.

Trinath, another trade analyst, said there's no stopping the film at the box office. We can expect the film to become Rs. 1000 crore grosser by the end of its second weekend. "For the next two weeks, the film will have an uninterrupted run at the cinemas", he said. Within India alone, it had earned Rs121 crore on Friday and Rs385 crore over the first weekend, emerging as both the highest opening day and weekend earner ever in the country.

This is the first worldwide language in which the film will be dubbed and sources say that plans are on to have it dubbed in other foreign languages as well.

However, the makers took time and released the film on April 28 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

With a collection of Rs 41 crore on Monday, Baahubali knocked out a few more records and became the first Hindi film to reach Rs 150 crore in four-day flat. The audience also giving the great response to the film.

Film tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted on Thursday to give estimated earnings' figures till day 6 (Rs 785 crore, approx).

So far, "Baahubali 2" has grossed Rs 695-crore (nett 545-crore) in India (all versions) and Rs 165-crore in the worldwide markets. Film's super villain Rana Daggubati received Rs 15 crore for doing the movie.
